ProPr54; Prediction of Sigma54 dependent Promoters and Regulon

ProPr54 update November 13, 2024; optimized model implemented
Prediction of Sigma54 regulon in bacterial genomes consists of 4 steps:
  • Prediction of Sigma54 promoters based on Machine Learning models
  • Functional classification of proteins on the basis of our extended UniProt database
  • Operon prediction
  • Combine promoters, regulon proteins, and operons


Input
  • Option 1: Sigma54 Regulon in bacterial genomes
    • Upload genome sequence and associated annotation file (.fna and .gff)
    • A GFF for new genomes can be created by our FACoP web server
  • Option 2: Sigma54 promoters in short sequences
